Cement tiles - INTERIOR FLOORs
The Cement Tiles or cement pastine, are multi-layered tiles and were born at the end of the 19th century. The lower part of the Cement Tiles is composed of high-strength cement and aggregates, the upper layer is made up of marble powder, white cement and colored inorganic pigments.
Our Cement Tiles are still made as they once were, handmade one by one. Inspired by traditional cement paste tiles, square or hexagonal, whose dominant colors were often in shades of gray and brick. Precisely at the beginning of the twentieth century, the Cement Tiles experienced a period of immense success: since they were considered robust and cheap, they often went to cover service rooms, or even work spaces. The composition could be based on the simple alternation of colours, but the Cement Tiles also lent themselves to much more sophisticated decorative solutions, made with flowers, Greek frets, which interpreted the suggestions of the dominant liberty and decò styles, or represented a fresh alternative to the carpet, while guaranteeing the same function of delimitation of spaces and aesthetic strength.
A recovery that has become a "trend", with new stylistic and chromatic solutions.
Various models are presented in the catalog but through the use of matrices it is possible to create infinite designs with different colours, even on a project basis.

Grit was born towards the end of the 19th century as a natural evolution of the Venetian terrazzo technique, made of lime and pieces of marble and very common in Venetian patrician residences since the Middle Ages.
The combination of concrete and colored marble fragments offers great decorative versatility while maintaining high wear resistance. Pure colour. The Terrazzo Tiles line is made up of cement and granulates of different sizes of precious marbles which give the material that characteristic granular composition with a high decorative potential.
They are available in various standard large formats and, upon request, can be customized according to the needs and creativity of the designer.
